Hattie graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2018, and joined Penmellyn in 2020. 

She enjoys all aspects of practice, but has a particular interest in emergency medicine and surgery, and is studying towards a Masters level qualification in Emergency and Critical Care. Hattie also has an interest in geriatric care and chronic pain management. She is passionate about making sure older pets enjoy a comfortable and optimum quality of life in their twilight years. In 2022, she gained a qualification through the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA) and integrates acupuncture into multimodal treatment plans for patients with chronic pain.

In her spare time, Hattie enjoys surfing, running, eating cake and chilling out with her lurcher, Dingo. She also volunteers with the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) helping to rehabilitate sick and injured seal pups around the Cornish coast.
