I started at Penmellyn In September 1990 as YTS and studied at Bicton College for 2 years block release and then 6 months full time before qualifying as a RVN. After 20+ years of Veterinary Nursing in St.Columb, at the old practice and the Hospital site, I moved on, to be Head Nurse at the Newquay branch when it first opened on Henver Road and then Nurse / Receptionist at the St.Merryn branch. I am now the main insurance claims administrator for Penmellyn. I have lived in Cornwall nearly all my life and where my family also still live. I have 2 Working Cocker Spaniel dogs, Herbie and Frankie and a corn snake called Rattler. I love walking the dogs, gardening and I have an allotment, which is my happy place and I spend a lot of time there.
