I joined Penmellyn in October 2024 after several years away from work due to health issues. Prior to that I worked as a veterinary nurse for 10 years in a handful of practices in Cornwall, as well as referral centres in the southwest. I am also a trained equine sports massage therapist and worked with horses for several years. I am now partaking in a period or supervised practice to regain my vet nursing registration, alongside reception work. I have really missed it, and love caring for patients and helping them to recover and return home. Penmellyn have a very caring and talented team and I enjoy being a part of it.
I have 3 of my own horses who take up a lot of my time and sanity! My husband and I also have Ralph the spaniel, and Ted the teckle. The latter constantly keeping us on our toes with his antics.
